Hi, I'm Karina, an esthetician with 25 years of experience, a realtor for 14 years, a human, a mom to a fantastic Gen Z daughter, a friend, an ex, a weights and yoga fan, healthy alternative enthusiast, and a volunteer. Like many of us, I juggle multiple roles, passions, and identities.

I'm so excited to share my path with you through KismetK!

KismetK was born from the countless inquiries I receive from friends, strangers, and even my daughter, asking for the latest skin tips, wellness, and healing modalities, supplements, or even the best taco truck in town! 

After years of recommending practitioners, services, products, and websites I've tried and heard of, I thought, why not share it all in one go-to place,  KismetK! 

"Kismet" means destiny-fate, and "K" stands for me—Karina. So, if you've found yourself here, maybe fate brought you, or perhaps the algorithm did (ha!); either way, you're meant to be here. Welcome! 

KismetK is a space where I'll share the beauty and wellness tips that have made a difference in my life and the lives of those I love. 

From the perspective of an esthetician who loves lotions, potions, and the magic of self-care while navigating the ups and downs of menopause, divorce, motherhood and the shifting tides of friendships, routines, makeup, and personal style, beauty tools, and everything in between, I’m an open book, I’ll share it all, and KismetK will constantly evolve—just like the path we're all walking together.

At 52, I've been through my fair share of highs, lows, and even two personal rebirths (more on that later). All of this has made me a firm believer in the power of self-empowerment and root-cause transformation. But I also know that we all need a little guidance—from the wisdom this beautiful universe offers and the people we meet along the way. We're all here to learn from each other, after all. 

YOU are the source of your own healing, wellness and growth. I've seen it in the incredible souls I've crossed paths with—and in myself, after putting in the hard work to stand here with you today.

My passion for addressing the 'root cause' of healing goes beyond skincare; it's about embracing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. At KismetK, I believe true beauty comes from feeling empowered, nurtured, and uplifted from within, not just looking good on the outside. So, let's embark on this transformative journey together.
